Course Description: Advance Care Planning Australia provides online courses and face-to-face workshops nationally, specifically designed to support aged care workers, health professionals and the general public learn more about advance care planning.

Course Description: Antimicrobial Stewardship Learning Modules are developed in collaboration with the Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (ACSQHC), these courses deal with antimicrobial prescribing in a hospital setting.
These modules have been reviewed and updated to reflect Therapeutic Guidelines: Antibiotic (April 2019).

Course Description: Aseptic technique aims to prevent pathogenic organisms, in sufficient quantity to cause infection, from being introduced to susceptible sites by hands, surfaces and equipment. (NHMRC Guidelines)
Aseptic technique protects patients during invasive clinical procedures by employing infection control measures that minimise, as far as practicably possible, the presence of pathogenic microorganisms

ASSIST Training
This Competency Package has been adapted with the approval of the Australian Catholic University (ACU), from ACU's Quality in Acute Stroke Care Protocol.
All sections must be completed and you must achieve 100% to successfully pass and be deemed competent in using the ASSIST dysphagia screen.
Once you have successfully passed, an annual refresher course is required to maintain competency.
Course Format: PowerPoint Education Package followed by completion of competency assessment.
